As you might know, September 11, 1893 is an important milestone in Indian history. On this day, at the Parliament of World Religions in Chicago, Swami Vivekananda unveiled the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of India and introduced them to the entire world.
To commemorate this historically important day, Vivekananda Kendra and Rock Memorial, Kanyakumari celebrates 11th September of every year as the Universal Brotherhood Day. Consequently, our organization has been conducting several activities and competitions in educational institutions across the nation on this occasion. The theme of these activities mainly focuses on engaging students in their personality development and nation building.
This year, we are conducting an essay competition in Kannada language for the college students. Due to logistical challenges imposed by the COVID pandemic, we are conducting this competition online. The details of the competition- including the topic, timelines and the mode of submission- have been provided in the cover letter and flyer attached. We sincerely request you to be kind enough to encourage the students of your esteemed institution to actively participate in the competition.
