Following is the notification for JRF and RA-III under DST funded project. Circulate among the interested and deserving candidates.

The Department of Computer Science, Central University of Karnataka, invites applications for the post of Junior Research Fellows and Research Assistant (RA-III) to work in the DST-BDTD project titled “Design and development of a cost-effective haptic device for medical education, training, and rehearsal” from young and motivated candidates. The details are as below:

Essential qualifications
For JRF: P.G. in Computer Science/MCA/Electronics with valid NET-JRF/NET/GATE scores. In addition, the candidate should have secured a minimum 55% in PG.
For RA: Ph.D. in Computer Science / Electronics.

Desirable qualifications
For JRF: Candidates with experience in Python programming/knowledge of machine learning.
For RA-III: Proven research in DIP/AI/Machine learning with quality publications.

Duration of the fellowship
36 months or until the end of the project tenure, whichever is earlier

Fellowship amount
For JRF: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA
For RA-III: Rs. 54,000/- + HRA
as applicable (as per rules and regulations of DST)
Application Procedure: Interested eligible candidates should send their CV along with the latest photograph, scanned copy of their educational qualifications and necessary documents and a statement of interest by email to rshegadi@cuk.ac.in on or before 13th June 2022. The shortlisted candidates will be notified for personal interview by email only. TA/DA is not admissible for attending the interview.
